But how are you able to decide on the right stretch film that’s biodegradable? To figure this part out, you’ll have to consider certain things prior to purchasing this. Is This right for me? 

This is something you have to decide for yourself. If you want to compost, then get the compostable type.

If you want to get something that doesn’t require the extra baggage of composting, then your best bet is to go biodegradable.

If you’re trying to avoid plastic however, then neither of these two options are worth it. 

Finally, if you’re trying to get something that can be recycled, and biodegradable, then you should go with a type of biodegradable type of stretch film.

How to Choose 

Choosing the ideal box is good for being safe, and cost-effective. Guessing and randomly choosing boxes does lead to higher damage, costs for shipping, and major inconvenience. To choose the right sizes for boxes, there are a few steps to take. 

The first step is to measure these correctly. This includes the width, length, and heights.  Use the correct measurement for the unit, including centimeters and inches. You should also consider the fragility and the weight of the item.  Heavier, more fragile types of items, do require a sturdier or a larger box to help with providing better protection. Also, keep in mind adding cushioning such as packaging paper and bubble wrap. 

For items that are heavier, use something that’s strong, like smaller bubbles to help with durability. 

Look at the internal dimensions and compare this to the product measurement.  The dimensions that are on websites tend to be inside dimensions.  

Focus on the length and width of said box dimensions, ensuring it’s the correct fit.  It’s important as well to consider not just the external dimensions of the box, but the interior, in order to have more efficient packaging. Remember as well that the dimensions of the box should be less than those inside. 

Also bear in mind the specific requirements that are there. For instance, perishables will need more insulated types of packaging. Some companies do have some restrictions on sizes and weight, so keep that in mind before you choose a box. 

When you measure the item, consider the fragility and the weight that’s there, and compare the internal parts of the boxes to ones that are available, allowing you to choose the correct ones each time. 

Learning to Measure 

When you’re shipping, you need to choose the right box size. The best way to make sure you’ve got what’s right, is to measure this.
